Working together to achieve balance in all aspects of life.
Anxiety
Anxiety is also sometimes called "nerves" or "nervousness" and is generally characterized by an uneasy or uncomfortable feeling which can at times be extremely disabling.
In our experience, there are a number of ways to help anxiety which include talking about anxiety-provoking situations and discovering new coping skills, using breathing techniques, and changing diet and exercise habits. There are also medications which have been reported helpful like Effexor XR, Neurontin, Gabitril, Buspar, Serzone, and clonazepam, among others.
We encourage you to talk with your nurse or doctor about your symptoms of anxiety and seek treatment for this potentially serious condition.
As we see it, uncomfortable emotions of all descriptions are due to either an immediate threat or perceived threat or the result of an imbalance of some kind. We have found that these uncomfortable emotions can sometimes serve as a guide to restoration of physical, emotional and spiritual balance.
